Description

The most tactile of houseplants, the leaves do really feel like the softest velvet. Not as bright as a lot of this family the leaves are a rich green on the top and a dark burgandy underneath. Long and arching form great for many interior design schemes.

Water: Moderate. Achieve moist but not soggy soil during warmer months. Reduce watering in cooler months. Allow soil to dry out before watering.

    Light: Indirect bright sunlight. Leaves will be damaged in direct sun.

        Temperature: 18 - 27ºC. Ideal room temperature.

        Humidity:  High. 60%+. Gently mist leaves once a week with distilled water.

        Soil: Good drainage potting mix. 6.0 - 7.0 ph.

        Fertilizer: Once a week in spring & summer.
