Costa Rica Bamboo Palm is a clumping forming palm with masses of soft fronds & bamboo like stems, filling out fast adding a lush tropical look to gardens. They prefer sheltered sites in partial shade to full sun.

Botanical name: Chamaedorea costaricana.

Family: Arecaceae.

Suitable: Indoor / Outdoor.

Max height: 6m.

 Water: Moderate. Keep soil moist but not wet.

Light: Indirect Sun / Partial Shade. Bright filtered light.

Temperature: 18° - 27°C. Ideal warm temperatures.

Humidity: Medium / High. 40 - 70%.

Soil: Good drainage potting mix. 5.5 - 6.0 ph.

Fertilizer: Once a month in spring & summer.
