Leca is an acronym for Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate. It is created in kilns through a high heat process, which makes them VERY airy and lightweight.

Leca is easy for plant roots to grow through. It also wicks up water. This allows plant roots to sip only what they need to thrive. Ideal for propagating.
