Description

Swiss Cheese Vine - closely related to the much loved Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera deliciosa). With beautiful fenestrated leaves, this vine will grow long tendrils and can be left to trail down from a hanging pot or shelf, or trained up a trellis or moss pole.

Origin: Mexico and Central America.

Botanical name: Monstera Adansonii

Family: Araceae.

Suitable: Indoor.

Max spread: 3.7m.

Pet Friendly: Toxic. 

Water: Moderate. Achieve moist, but not soggy/wet soil. Allow soil to nearly dry out before watering.

    Light: Indirect bright sunlight. Low light requirements. Leaves will be damaged in direct sun.

        Temperature: 13 - 24ºC. Ideal warmer temperatures.

        Humidity:  High. 60%+. Prefers slightly higher humidity levels. Gently mist leaves twice a week with distilled water.

        Soil: Good drainage potting mix. Peat. 5.5 - 7.5 ph.

        Fertilizer:  Once a month in growing season, spring & summer.
