Description
Pitcher plants (or pitfall traps) are carnivorous plants whose prey-trapping mechanism features a deep cavity filled with liquid known as a pitfall trap. The sides of the pitcher are slippery and may be grooved in such a way so as to ensure that the insects cannot climb out.

Origin: Madagascar, Southeast Asia, & Australia.
Botanical name: Nepenthes Rafflesiana x Sibuyanensis
Family: Nepenthaceae.
Suitable: Indoor.
Max spread: 10cm.
Pet Friendly: Non-toxic.
Water: Frequently. Keep soil moist, don't allow soil to dry out.
Light: Full Sun to Partial Shade. Leaves will be damaged in direct sun. The variegation will be more pronounced in brighter light.
Temperature: 16 - 21ºC. Ideal room temperature.
Humidity: High. 60%+. Gently mist leaves twice a week with distilled water.
Soil: 50:50 mixture of sand and peat moss is recommended. 5.0 ph. Slightly Acidic.
Fertilizer: Lightly. Once a month in spring & summer.
