Chlorophytum comosum is a perennial lily-like plant with tuberous roots, bearing spreading to recurved soft leaves from a central rosette and an elongated raceme with small white flowers. This is probably the most cultivated house plant in the world.

Origin: South Africa.

Botanical name: Chlorophytum comosum.

Family: Asparagaceae.

Suitable: Indoor / Outdoor.

Max height: 60cm.

Plant Care Guide

 Water: Moderate. Allow top of soil to dry before watering.

Light: Indirect Sun / Partial Shade. Direct sun will burn leaves. Bright, indirect light to maintain the variegation on the leaves.

Temperature: 18° - 32°C. Ideal warm temperatures.

Humidity: Medium / High. 50 - 70%. Mist leaves once a week.

Soil: Good drainage potting mix. 6.0 - 7.0 ph.

Fertilizer: Optional, once a week in spring & summer.
